What’s the challenge?
Human services are under pressure to make sense of AI and emerging technologies and turn them into better outcomes. Things routinely go wrong in a few ways:
- Organizations buy full packages without understanding which parts fit their work and which parts get in the way.
- Rollouts fail because teams and leadership have gaps in communication and understanding.
- Training programs are designed based on trends, not learning sciences.
The end result is expensive contracts for unused tools, or worse, people who feel tech is being done to them rather than with them.
How I can help
I help in two ways: a technology adoption report, followed by an upskilling and adoption program. The most important part is that we contextualize and co-design the program together with the organization’s people.
1. Tech Adoption Report
- Landscape scan of relevant emerging tech for the organization’s context.
- Interviews, observations, and surveys within the organization.
- Recommendations on which aspects to adopt and the initial roll-out plan.
2. Upskilling and Adoption Program
- Role-specific training design for each critical group.
- Hands-on, social learning based on learning sciences.
- Adoption metrics, communities of practice and iteration guidelines.
